Last Friday, while most students (and teachers!) were relishing the last hours of their Eid break, the TEDx Committee members stayed back after practice to help put up TEDx displays across the school. In about four hours, we had the school plastered with the very prolific red ‘X’ that has become so symbolic of TED’s independently organized events. With our makeshift ruler (just a piece of cardboard), a couple of scissors, and some tack, we managed to do smashing job at some pretty incredible looking displays! With less than two weeks left for the actual event, our excitement is gaining momentum very fast!

Every Saturday till Nov. 17th (the big day!) the TEDxYouth@Winchester speakers and hosts meet to practice for the main event, under our trainers Rohan Roberts (Organiser) and Lara Matossian (Co-organiser)
Our first TEDx training session was a grueling yet fun-filled affair. We began our day with fresh donuts and rolls thanks to the ever-so wonderful Lara. The air was thick with anticipation as one by one we were called up to deliver our talks (without any cue-cards!) along with our presentations.
